I was having the same kind of issue, and since my traps weren’t working properly either, I made a small mod that makes water and lava flows properly push things along as they’re supposed to. If you’d like, give it a try while we wait for an official patch. By the way, I’ve only tested it in single-player, so I can’t guarantee that it will work properly in multiplayer. Using Forge on Minecraft version 26.3 makes water not work properly. It has no pushing power, it doesnt push items, players or other entities at all. Its only a problem on version 26.3, other version like 26.2 and 26.1 work fine. Not sure where the problem is, but its happening if you use mods or without them with just the base game.

Yes - not all mods are working on a server (client-side-only mods) - shader mods, minimaps, mods making HUD changes etc

yknow i just realized some of the mods listed arent even in the mod folder for the server so idk whats going on now
