Forge is not an app, it's a executable jar which adds a profile to the Minecraft launcher. It should not have any effect on anything else unless you changed where the game directory is pointing.

If you are using Chrome, try a different browser first and see if that works.

You do not have enough memory allocated to the game. To give more, you can go to Installations -> Select the ... next to the profile you wish to edit and click Edit -> More Options -> Add to the JVM arguments if not already present -Xmx<amount of memory to allocate> (e.g. 4 gigabytes is '-Xmx4G').

You'll need to run Jarfix to fix the file associations.

Please provide a video demonstrating the issue between vanilla and Forge. If it's because of a mod, contact the mod author.

Depending on the minecraft version you are attempting to run: - 1.18 and later need Java 17 - 1.17 needs Java 16 - 1.16.5 and older need Java 8

Forge and a mod is a JAR file, so it shouldn't be a ZIP. If it is coming as a ZIP, you may need to fix your file associations with Jarfix.

Then show all the code written including the resources, preferably in a git repo.

1.19.2 requires Java 17. If changing the version doesn't work, in order to root out one of the more common issues, we'll need to see your hosts file. Here's the steps to getting this file. 1) Press the Win + R key on your keyboard. 2) Paste the following into the prompt that opens: 'notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts' 3) Use Ctrl+A to select everything in the file, then Ctrl+C into the textbox to post to this thread.

Did you make the item with a class and register it? The build.gradle only shows us in relation to building the project. If you didn't program an item in Java itself, then there won't be an item.

You are probably not downloading the jar then but saving the html file which launches it. Otherwise, you probably need to fix your jar associations with Jarfix or manually.

What is the error message? Please provide a paste of the console output.

That sounds like an issue with your computer. If its with the mods, please provide the debug.log in the logs folder.
