Why did you manually download things?

Did you make sure to close Minecraft and the launcher before deleting the assets folder?

Can you provide the launcher log?

The issue may be a corrupted sound file. Try deleting your Minecraft assets folder, the launcher will re-download them.

That's an old log that has mods installed, if you get the error with just Forge then please provide a log with just Forge.

Confirmed how? and I was referring to posting your logs to a site that doen't turn them into pretty-formatted text.

The filenames of some of your mods suggests you are not getting them from official sources, please read my signature for more info on why this is a bad thing. You appear to be running out of Biome IDs, try removing mods that register an excessive amount of them.

Yeah sorry, we don't actively support 1.7.10 anymore because of its age. Forge is provided for older versions purely for legacy purposes.

Google also removed the option to recover the download from the shelf (the bar that pops up at the bottom) a while ago for some reason, you now have to go to the download manager (ctrl + j) to recover the file. A reminder: Everything Forge is Open-Source on GitHub, as long as you only ever download Forge from the Official Files Page you should be fine.

Getting a bit out of my experience range here, but it looks like NetherEx is doing File IO on the main thread causing the server to slow to a crawl at which point the watchdog assumes the server to have stopped responding and kills it.

To my knowledge 5zig doesn't use Forge, can't say what it's doing there.
