    failed to download file forge minecraft launcher

    Whenever I try to use forge with minecraft 12.2 and launch the minecraft launcher this error message comes up. I have tried multiple things such as trying out other forges for 1.12.2, reinstalled minecraft, restarted my computer, and tried other ways of downloading forge. The forge is within the correct version of minecraft from what I can see and everything seems like it is correct however this keeps showing up. 1.7.10 forge works fine so I don't understand what the problem is. If anyone can help me out and knows what's going on it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me out with this. I am using the recommended version of forge by the way.
