  1. im trying to figure out how to change my mod's forge version but i cant seem to find the forge version in the build.gradle . build.gradle: buildscript { repositories { // These repositories are only for Gradle plugins, put any other repositories in the repository block further below maven { url = 'https://maven.minecraftforge.net' } mavenCentral() } dependencies { classpath group: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle', name: 'ForgeGradle', version: '5.1.+', changing: true } } apply plugin: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle' group = 'net.mikeyypants' version = '1.0-SNAPSHOT' java { archivesBaseName = 'TestMod' toolchain.languageVersion = JavaLanguageVersion.of(17) } minecraft { // The mappings can be changed at any time and must be in the following format. // Channel: Version: // snapshot YYYYMMDD Snapshot are built nightly. // stable # Stables are built at the discretion of the MCP team. // official MCVersion Official field/method names from Mojang mapping files // // You must be aware of the Mojang license when using the 'official' mappings. // See more information here: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MCPConfig/blob/master/Mojang.md // // Use non-default mappings at your own risk. 2. currently im trying to figure out what replaced BlockBehaviour.Properties.of(), if you can tell me it will be great. Edit: never mind found the solution
  3. I'm trying to create a mod in 1.18 but when I look at the docs it shows me the 1.17.x version link: https://mcforge.readthedocs.io/en/1.18.x/ what it shows in the drop down: now it might seem like only the drop down shows it, but in the docs itself it also shows old functions that are no longer in use.. am I being dumb or there is something else I need to do?
