  3. Hi everyone, I recently started again to play Minecraft after a few years of pause and after having rediscovered the vanilla mode, I would enjoy now to play with mods. I am on a server with friends who also want mods and I am, in a way, the Reason why we yet dont have any mod on the server. Therefore I would like to get forge on my computer. I succeeded to install forge for 1.12.2 (I Don't know how actually) but I doesn't interest me. I would like to play 1.15 or 1.16 (when 1.16 is released). I tried many times to get forge by using links on the website of Forge but I have a problem with java. Indeed, when I install an installer in JAR, I need to open it with java (that is the next step as I have understand it by watching tutorials). However, I Don't know actually what is the name of the software I am supposed to select when I do "open with". I tried with a lot of the ones I found in the java folder but none of them is working : when I do "open with …", it opens a window for half a second and then I get a another window which is openning : the java control pannel is openning OR java says "unable to launch application" OR Nothing happens, depending on the software I use. I only one idea of the origin of the problem : the location of the java folder. I have a 64 bits computer and my java folder is in "programs". Should it be in programm*86" ? Do you know how I can solve my problem ? Could you help me ? I would truly enjoy playing with mods and I was wondering if someone could help me. Hoping you have nice day and hoping everyone is fine in your family. Breizh-Paul PS : Don't mind the grammar or syntax errors, I am french and I am not bilingual ;)
