  1. Ok, sorry again for the hassle. buildscript { repositories { maven { url = 'https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven' } mavenCentral() } dependencies { classpath group: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle', name: 'ForgeGradle', version: '4.1.+', changing: true } } apply plugin: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle' // Only edit below this line, the above code adds and enables the necessary things for Forge to be setup. apply plugin: 'eclipse' apply plugin: 'maven-publish' version = '1.0' group = 'com.yourname.modid' // http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-naming-co
  2. yes sir, package dmd.dmd.anubis.data.client; import dmd.dmd.anubis.AnubisMod; import net.minecraft.data.DataGenerator; import net.minecraftforge.client.model.generators.ItemModelBuilder; import net.minecraftforge.client.model.generators.ItemModelProvider; import net.minecraftforge.client.model.generators.ModelFile; import net.minecraftforge.common.data.ExistingFileHelper; public class ModItemModelProvider extends ItemModelProvider { public ModItemModelProvider(DataGenerator generator, ExistingFileHelper existingFileHelper) { super(generator, AnubisMod.MOD_ID, existing
  3. Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding, here's my code package dmd.dmd.anubis.data; import dmd.dmd.anubis.AnubisMod; import dmd.dmd.anubis.data.client.ModBlockStateProvider; import dmd.dmd.anubis.data.client.ModItemModelProvider; import net.minecraft.data.DataGenerator; import net.minecraftforge.common.data.ExistingFileHelper; import net.minecraftforge.eventbus.api.SubscribeEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod; import net.minecraftforge.fml.event.lifecycle.GatherDataEvent; @Mod.EventBusSubscriber(modid = AnubisMod.MOD_ID, bus = Mod.EventBusSubscriber.Bus.MOD) public class DataGene
  4. yes, but the files don't generate even after checking my code is 100% correct. Also, I don't know why is keeps stopping at "Holder lookups applied: minecraft:worldgen/tree_decorator_type". But then again, I'm awfully new to coding.
  5. I looked at similar issues with Minecraft and most of them is with Minecraft not being fully allowed through the firewall. Also, after running "gradlew runData" which im assuming is the correct command (probably not though) it hits me with an error saying "Could not dispatch a message to the daemon". after the same part that I'm getting the "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". Edit: I've also allowed IntelliJ through the firewall and yet it still hits me with "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"
  6. I've debunked that I don't believe that this is an error with the code. I believe that IntelliJ is cant fully access something to generate the files.
  7. it gets stuck at a part and then it says "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" after a few seconds
  8. > Task :runData Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx4096m 2021-04-20 10:46:18,637 main WARN Advanced terminal features are not available in this environment [10:46:18] [main/INFO] [cp.mo.mo.Launcher/MODLAUNCHER]: ModLauncher running: args [--mod, examplemod, --all, --output, C:\Code\Minecraft\Anubis Mod\src\generated\resources, --existing, C:\Code\Minecraft\Anubis Mod\src\main\resources, --gameDir, ., --launchTarget, fmluserdevdata, --fml.mcpVersion, 20210115.111550, --fml.mcVersion, 1.16.5, --fml.forgeGroup, net.minecraftforge, --fml.forgeVersion, 36.1.0] [10:46:18] [main/INFO] [cp.mo.mo.
  9. runData keeps getting stuck at "Holder lookups applied: minecraft:worldgen/tree_decorator_type" and then after a few seconds it says "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" this is in IntelliJ and 1.16.5
  10. Thank You! I'll definitely take some time learn more about java and modding
  11. sorry I'm new to modding and java completely, but what is the maven package naming convention.
