    ok so i downloaded the forge server files for 1.16.5, i made the run.bat file i renamed the forge server file to forgeserver.jar, and when i tried to run it, it keeps trying to run in java 16, which isnt supported. so i downloaded java LTS 8, but the server is still trying to run java 16. so all i need is how do i make it run with java 8.

    how do i make it run with java LST 8, i just downloaded it, installed it and restarted my PC, but its still trying to run with java 16. Im having the same error he's having Also does it matter if the folder is missing the json file? everytime i download it, its not there.
