I have made my model in Blockbench and I want to animate it. I go to the section as I do normally i select a block to animate. except is does allow me to, I does not recognise I have clicked it, I try different models and different types of models, nothing works... please help I am still a beginner with animating so I have no idea on what to do.

you have to make modded entity, create your entity, and the convert back into a generic model, from there animate. (WARNING! sometimes if you create the texture when its a modded entity, when you convert it, the texture can get messed up)
