You have an archaic version of java . If that is even the official version? There is a known pirated (maybe hacked?) version of Oracle's java with that exact version id. Upgrade it to a modern version that doesn't have expired trust certificates and comes from an official site.

By the way, in most normal cases the event or method will include some kind of HitResult in the parameters.

No, that it is the player (or the entity the player is spectating). Look at how it determines the hit results and where it stores them.

You were already on my mental list of time wasters that fails to read/understand the documentation even when we go to the effort of providing exact links. Instead expecting to be spoon fed all the details with no effort on your part. Maybe somebody else wants to waste their Sunday trying to get all the relevant information from you so they can reproduce the problem and tell you what is causing it? I don't.

The 1.18.X branch on github builds and runs fine for me. Try checking it out yourself in a different folder. if it works, figure out what is different between the 2.
