AFAIK entities don't part in the lightlng system in minecraft. If they did, there would be hundreds of mods out there that let the player carry a torch or equivalent. 🙂

Some issue with sophisticated backups not being able to find a class in sophisticatedcore. Probably you have the wrong version of one of these mods? Contact the modpack author or mod author.

You have an archaic version of java . If that is even the official version? There is a known pirated (maybe hacked?) version of Oracle's java with that exact version id. Upgrade it to a modern version that doesn't have expired trust certificates and comes from an official site.

No, that it is the player (or the entity the player is spectating). Look at how it determines the hit results and where it stores them.
