i had that problem to remove FastLeafDecay RandomThingsCore has FastLeafDecay buildin

forge has a config folder here is a start script for forge https://github.com/pahimar/ForgeCraft-Script/blob/master/script/minecraft but auto starting a forge server can be a pita when it crashed and it is auto restarting you end in a loop

w/ launcher are you using

a profile is not the same as a folder you CAN use the launcher for 2(or more) different profiles but do as lex told you to do and point it to a different folder
