So i just got to opening forge server and when i launch my server.bat i get this error main WARN Advanced terminal features are not available in this environment

oh i used 1.16.5 and i dont rl know how to change im kinda of a noob at coding but i would do everything to play with my friends

made a folder and then in the folder i extracted the forge server files and made a txt document and typed java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar forgeserver.jar nogui PAUSE in the document then i saved as a bat file and i opened the run.bat file it didnt extract any other files like this video right here that i followed

 

you need to replace java in the command line with the java path of your system (java 8-15 is required for your version)

i changed the path and it didnt gave any errors but now when i open my run.bat it gives the same error 😢

i used set path=C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_301

do this

replace java in the command line (in the run.bat file) with "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_301" then save  the file and run the the server

okay thats strange try this command line:

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_301\bin\java.exe" -Xmx10592M -Xms256M -jar forgeserver.jar
PAUSE
