Ive tried to get it to make a server but i keep getting this error. I even took and did what it said by downloading the Vanilla mc server and put it in my self but it still says the same thing

1.7 is no longer supported on this forum.
Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

How do i do that..? If i have internet does it not have access to it also?
