Hello, I understand the older installers are not currently working, and was wondering if there was any workaround to get a specific version at the moment. There are certain modpacks that don't function with the newest versions of forge for their respective minecraft versions, essentially rendering them unable to be played.

I realize this, I cannot use the latest versions of forge for the modpacks I would like to play. I realize it's beyond difficult to maintain the amount of versions forge has, and that older versions are not supported. Is there no workaround or secondary repository somewhere?

Just any way to get an older version of forge installed while the older installers are non functional, even if its some form of manual install. Thank you for taking another look at my post even though it's about older versions.

I have read it.

The Installers don't work right now, I get it.

I'm asking if there is any other way to get an older version.

damn my mistake

it's an known issue that the old installers don't work,
and they will be fixed eventually.
Use a modern version for the time being.
