So,

In the community group I'm working in it came to the table in the staff team if it was possible to read like a file from a webserver.
For example a config file so we can set events in game as enabled disabled with a simple panel or just a simpel config on the webserver so we don't need to update the mod and give everyone everyday and updated version of the mod with those simple changes. 

So is this possible?
Can a mod read a file from a server?
