For some reason when i download forge and go underwater my render distance looks like i have void fog and i can only see one block ahead of me also my potion texture looks like darker or messed up. is it a mod or is it me?

yeah anything higher than respiration III causes the water to get TOO bright :P but potion textures are still messed up for some reason i cant post any screenshots D: (even with no mods active forge itself i think causes that) why dont you try out for yourself? like potion gets darker and lining gets darker too it looks weird. kinda bothers me :/

1) don't bump 2 month old threads

2) Forge fixes the glint feature, so that it only applies to the 2nd render pass, but, it still works fine:
