Unable to open Forge.jar to start a FTB revelations server

I am using the server files offered by Feed the Beast for their revelations modpack. Whenever I run start.bat I receive this message:

A problem occurred running the Server launcher.java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: class jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to class java.net.URLClassLoader (jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader and java.net.URLClassLoader are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')

The server.jar will open and run, but the forge.jar will not. What can I do to fix this?

The one that I installed is forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2846-universal.

      So i have a forge modded aternos server that worked just fine for a month untill today it suddenly crashes most of the time giving errors and idk which mod is causing the error or its smth else here is the crash log link https://mclo.gs/gGkzGKT

      Struggling to decipher a crash report I'm getting in a custom modpack I'm tinkering with. The crash happens on startup, but weirdly, only some of the time.
