Posted July 1, 20223 yr I am running a MC server off my own computer and for some reason i cannot connect to it. when i use my external IP i get io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$AnnotatedConnectExcept ion: Connection refused: no further information: same when i use my default gateway then on my IPv4 i gets to encrypting and after awhile it just errors out with Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. I have port forwarded, ive let the port through my firewall. i dont understand with the issue is.
July 1, 20223 yr first of all, do not set the server ip in the server.properties please post debug log from server and client

July 1, 20223 yr Author and i have not set the server ip i just have no idea how to connect to the server myself. i tried just deleting the server and all files and then redownloading the server from curse forge and now i am getting io netty on like everything Edited July 1, 20223 yr by Aaron Corne
