August 3, 20223 yr Author Does this also mean i have to create my own version RecipeBookSettings as @Override public void init() { String name = this.name().toLowerCase(java.util.Locale.ROOT).replace("_",""); net.minecraft.stats.RecipeBookSettings.addTagsForType(this, "is" + name + "GuiOpen", "is" + name + "FilteringCraftable"); } needs RecipeBookType
August 4, 20223 yr Author so, i ran into this issue were public RecipeBookType getRecipeBookType() { return null; } I have to return RecipeBookType and in order to change that i have to my own RecipeBookMenu which i tried but does not work as this creates a problem with recipeBookComponent.init. what do think i can do instead
August 4, 20223 yr public static final RecipeBookType MY_RECIPE_BOOK_TYPE = RecipeBookType.create("MyRecipeType"); The above is how to use an extensible enum. The init() method is used by the person who wrote the enum to implement the create(). Read the javadoc. Quote this creates a problem with recipeBookComponent.init. "It does not work" style questions will likely mean you get no help. Unless somebody feels like playing "20 questions" with you to find out what "a problem" means. 🙂 Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
