Li jinhong
Here's my code: public TitleChanger() { ModLoadingContext.get().registerConfig(ModConfig.Type.CLIENT, TConfig.COMMON_CONFIG,"TitleChanger.toml"); try {TitleIcon.createFolders();} catch (IOException e) {throw new RuntimeException(e);} random = new Random().nextInt(TConfig.RandomMax.get()); date = new Date(); if(TConfig.isGetSentencesFromHitokoto.get()){ Sentence = getSentenceFromHitokoto(); }else{ Sentence = getSentence(); } ModLoadingContext.get().registerExtensionPoint(IExtensionPoint.DisplayTest.class, () -> new IExtensionPoint.DisplayTest(() -> NetworkConstants.IGNORESERVERONLY, (a, b) -> true)); FMLJavaModLoadingContext.get().getModEventBus().addListener(this::onClientSetup); LOGGER.info("TitleChanger is loaded!"); } When I run the client,it throws: Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot get config value before config is loaded. Who can help me? Edited October 5, 2022 by Li jinhong This is solved.
warjort
Configs are not available during mod initialisation. You access configs during Common/ClientSetup and later. https://forge.gemwire.uk/wiki/Stages_of_Modloading Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
