Post a link to the logs/debug.log so we can see the error.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

It doesn't give me any log or bug report, it really completely crashes the game and the launcher but I think I have the crash report that is saved in .minecraft, does that work?

If it started the game at all, you will have files in the logs subfolder.

If your crash begins with hs_err_pid just post the first 20 lines or so.

You can also post the launcher_log.txt

Upload it to a file sharing site and post a link.

But make sure it actually contains information about you trying to start minecraft.

If the game crashes and you then restart the launcher it will clear the file so we won't see the problem.

This is just the wrong version of optifine FAQ:

Quote

Info java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'void net.minecraft.server.level.DistanceManager.addRegionTicket(net.minecraft.server.level.TicketType, net.minecraft.world.level.ChunkPos, int, java.lang.Object, boolean)'
[Info: 2022-11-06 20:18:18.7545435: GameCallbacks.cpp(228)] Game/game () Info at net.minecraft.server.level.ServerChunkCache.addRegionTicket(ServerChunkCache.java:429) ~[client-1.18.2-20220404.173914-srg.jar%2359!/:?] {re:classloading,pl:accesstransformer:B}

You should have a log for this. And it says you have a crash report:

Quote

[Info: 2022-11-06 20:18:19.8736085: GameCallbacks.cpp(228)] Game/game () Info [14:18:19] [Server thread/ERROR] [minecraft/MinecraftServer]: This crash report has been saved to: <WORKDIR>\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2022-11-06_14.18.18-server.txt

To fix the problem you need to go to the optifine download page and click on 1.18.2 "Preview versions" then download the latest version.
