I have been experiencing this issue in both 1.18 and 1.19 where Minecraft will hang while loading more than 95 mods. The game will launch and then stop at a point and the logs will not continue forever. In Task Manager "OpenJDK platform Binary" will become not responsive and sit forever Minecraft will just have a blank white screen. I have Both java 8 64 bit and java 17.0.4.1 64 installed (but i think that Minecraft now installs its own java). When I drop the mods to 95 total the game loads in under a minute with no issues. I have tried multiple forge versions and reinstalling Minecraft/java. I have also tried switching mods out and enabling one at a time but its the same issue when ever I go over 95 total mods.

If anyone has ideas please tell me I have been trying to fix this for over 10 hours I even reinstalled windows I am going crazy.

Thank you.

Forge version 43.1.47 Ram:9gb I let Curseforge/Minecraft decide on the Java version

There are no errors or warnings in your logs. So there is very little help we can give you.

You should look at task manager to see if the java process running minecraft has issues, e.g. 100% cpu usage

I think the only way you are going to find this, is experimenting with removing mods until find which one is causing the problem. (Backup your world first).

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

Ok thank you, it has become even more strange as most of the time (not every time) if I restart the computer I can launch the Pack one time but if I close it and try to relaunch it it wont load.

If anyone else has a similar issue to this I may have found the issue/ solution. I seem to have the modpack loading with 152 mods after installing "smooth boot (reloaded)" as well as removing "NetherPortalFix"
