[Answered] [1.19] Hover over a GUIComponent on a Screen

I have a custom screen where I am displaying a number of icons, i.e. textures, using GUIComponent.blit and I want to do Tooltips where the player hovers over the icons. I have been successful in checking mouse x/y in the render class and displaying the tooltip

My question is whether there is a way find that mouse is over a specific GUIComponent?

In general no. You can get the list of widgets from Screen.renderables

AbstractWidget has an isHovered(), but it isn't guaranteed all your renderables are AbstractWidgets.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

You can add mob spawns using Forge's Biome Modifiers feature. I won't go into details on how to use a data generator for them, but here's a simple example:

How to change player renderer and transform model parts?

I have been trying for a while now to make a custom player renderer, and replace the vanilla player renderer with it. So far I've come up with a custom player renderer class that extends vanilla PlayerRenderer:

This logic isn't replacing the renderer, as far as I can tell. Can someone please advise as to why, and how to fix it?
