Posted August 31, 201312 yr Hi. I wanted to know if you have any new method for me to have a configuration file for my mod. Because the new version (1.6.2) the old method no longer exists. Tnks.
August 31, 201312 yr Create new file. public static Configuration config; public static void init(File configFile) { config = new Configuration(configFile); try { config.load(); //code } catch (Exception e) { FMLLog.log(Level.SEVERE, e, modid + " has had a problem loading its configuration"); } finally { config.save(); } } In FMLPreInitializationEvent: ConfigHandler.init(event.getSuggestedConfigurationFile());
August 31, 201312 yr manually import it, by finding the Configuration class (CTRL+SHIFT+T helps!) and copy it's package name. Then write import package.Line.Here.Configuration; along with the other import statements. If you guys dont get it.. then well ya.. try harder...
