This is the crash report for a curseforge modpack I am creating for myself. The exit code is as follows:

The game crashed whilst rendering overlay

Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Failed to create player model for default

Exit Code: -1

Can someone who is way smarter than I lend me a hand?

Looks like an issue with the midnight hats mod.

Check you have the latest version then contact the mod author.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

I just checked the mod list, and there was no mention of Midnight Hats. It's not even a mod on Curseforge and some quick research indicates it doesn't exist. Sorry. Any other ideas?

Jar name is in the error message

yo, i know this thread is pretty old by now and you've probably figured it out yourself or forgotten about it, but i figured i'd just leave this here in case anyone else has this issue and passes through looking for an answer.
i personally got this error by having the Rotten Creatures mod installed on 1.19.3 with a couple other mods with it. i don't really know what causes it, nor what it conflicts with, but i figured i'd say that uninstalling that mod specifically fixed my pack. if that's not your issue, sorry and good luck!

I also know this is an old thread but I found this happening with a different mod. It turns out all I needed to do is remove the MidnightLib mod which was a dependency for the Blur mod
