You need to report it Microsoft. Or you can try a different version of java e.g. https://adoptium.net/ It might also be you ran out of memory and java didn't handle it properly? Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post. captainavem
I have 16 gigabytes of ram, in the "profile options" I have it set to 8,000mb, would that be enough or too much?
warjort
That crash says you have 4G configured for heap: Quote -Xmx4096m Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. captainavem
I'd fix that by going into installations ( on the minecraft launcher ) and going down to "JVM arguments" right? If so, just did that and upped it to 12288, loaded faster but still crashed when loading a new chunk
captainavem
Alright, I think I got it to work, I change the "xmx" and the "xms" on the launcher options, I've yet to crash and I've loaded a fair amount of chunks. I think it's working now, thanks!
