Every time I try to join my friends modded server it crashes even though we have the same mods and give me either error code 1073740940 or 1073741571 even though I've uninstalled and reinstalled and changed the amount of ram it just keeps crashing even though it works fine for them.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

As was stated on the link I provided above, this is crash in native code.

If it's not flywheel, you need to report it to microsoft or try a different java.

What's that do?

I got the thing working but then I tried to change my render distance and it keeps crashing now. The way I got it working was getting rid of a mod that had errors but now I don't know why its crashing. It said "A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:"

Otherwise you need to talk to microsoft or try a different java.
