Custom mod pack crashing just before world gen

I am making a custom mod pack for me and some friends but it's crashing and i have no idea why. when preparing for world generation it will go to "saving world" for a few second before crashing and giving this error:

Looks like something is locking that file. e.g. you are editing it, or an instance of minecraft is still running.

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.

I was sure i had no instances of MC open but just to be safe i restarted mt pc and only opened forge to launch the modpack, same crash as before... any idea as to what would cause it otherwise ?

Could be a mod doing something weird (a bug) with its configuration file.

Check you have the latest version then contact the mod author.

Also in the past, errors like that file lock are sometimes misinterpreted by the java virtual machine.

e.g. It could be an issue with the operating system permissions of the file stopping it opening the file. But java misreports the error as it being locked.

Or it would probably be more accurate to say Windows is telling java the wrong error code?

Try deleting the file. Minecraft/Forge will recreate it with default values.

is there a simple way to figure out what mod is causing it or am i gonna have to try them 1 by 1 ?

The file is for sophisticated core which is used by sophisticated backpacks.

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

You can add mob spawns using Forge's Biome Modifiers feature. I won't go into details on how to use a data generator for them, but here's a simple example:

How to change player renderer and transform model parts?

I have been trying for a while now to make a custom player renderer, and replace the vanilla player renderer with it. So far I've come up with a custom player renderer class that extends vanilla PlayerRenderer:

This logic isn't replacing the renderer, as far as I can tell. Can someone please advise as to why, and how to fix it?

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

I'm on 1.20.1 and was wondering if there was a way to add a mob I am going to make to a other mod's biome (Regions Unexplored in this case). I am trying to figure this out before I start coding the mod. Could someone point me to a good guide on this? I saw some things about biome modifier's but all the resources are either to short, unhelpful or for a different version. Thanks in advance. (i am a beginner but i have java and modding knowledge so this isn't like a "i am new and don't know anything about coding" problem btw)

Cobblemon invalid player data

Hi everyone, I keep getting "invalid player data" when trying to log onto my friend's server. Log analysis says to remove Night Lights and ImmediatelyFast, but that doesn't work. Any insight is appreciated
