New to mod making + first post.

Created underwater villagers.. They cluster around illuminated light towers (which makes their settlements easier to spot when they're at the bottom of the ocean.

They form villages near clam beds.  Clams can be harvested for clam dust.  4 Clam dust make a pearl.  3 pearls can be traded for a special device that can be used to fire the special lamp blocks (when they strike a block, they replace it with the lamp.. this is useful for quickly illuminating a large cave while spellunking).

Anyway.. seems to all work so I figured I'd share.  Custom AI modules so that the villagers stay underwater (and run to water if on land) was probably the trickiest part.

Oh yeah.. If you're underwater in survival mode, the villagers will throw water breathing potions on you.

sounds like fun :)

how often do they spawn?

Communication is a vital tool, in the game industry you won't go anywhere without it. People are either going to learn to talk, or move on.
