Forge Installation Error - "Unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

I downloaded the recommended version of Forge for 1.19.2. When I pressed "install client" it was downloading but then it said "Failed to run processor: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

I'm not sure how to fix this problem.

Hi!

It looks like you're having issues installing Forge. In order to root out one of the more common issues, we'll need to see your hosts file.

Here's the steps to getting this file.

1) Press the Win + R key on your keyboard.
2) Paste the following into the prompt that opens: notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
3) Use Ctrl+A to select everything in the file, then Ctrl+C into the textbox to post to this thread.

Looking forward to your reply!

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
