Posted March 21, 20232 yr Using Minecraft Forge server 1.19.4-45.0.13 without any mods or plugins. I can interact with the world properly in any way, the only problem is when another player drops something from their inventory, I'm not able to pick it up. there's no settings or properties I could find to change this, same issue is still there if one or both of the players are OP-ed.
March 21, 20232 yr I just tried this with the older 45.0.9 and get the same bug. Player's can't pick up other player's thrown items. What's weird is when the player that threw the item leaves the game, the other player can pick up the item. So this must have something to do with the hidden thrower/owner field in the ItemEntity? I reported it here: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/issues/9412 and XFactD said it was a known issue: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/9404 Edited March 21, 20232 yr by warjort Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
