Hello!

I am trying to set up a server with ~80 mods but i keep getting this error https://pastebin.com/QMMX48ym

i have already tried reinstalling java 17 and removing (accidental) client-side mods i had in the mods folder.

Can anyone help please?

Looks like one of your mods is corrupted. Probably because it didn't finish downloading properly?

The error message does not say which mod.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

I tried removing every single mod from the mods folder 1 by 1, found the mod that (i thought) was causing the problem, reinstalled it, and put them all back in the mods folder.

I got the same error.

What should i do now? (do i have to reinstall every mod again individually?)

Try it without any mods.

If you still get the problem without any mods then the problem is with your forge installation.

Try reinstalling forge. If you are using a launcher that installs forge for you, you need to ask whoever provides the launcher.

Good news and bad news.

Good news: I found the issue. I was trying the mods 1 by 1 and there were ~20 broken mods, now all fixed.

Bad news: I started the server with all the (supposedly) working mods, and it gave me this error: https://pastebin.com/zSv01x9A

Can anyone help please?

I've just come across an error with Terrablender which doesn't seem to be fixable by reinstalling it. I tried reinstalling 1.2.0.126 then when that didn't work, tried 1.2.0.101.

Perhaps it's an incompatibility with another mod?

This error says there is something wrong with the terrablender configuration file.

The error does not say what the file is called but it will be in the config folder.

If you don't have a backup of the file, you can delete it and it should be recreated with default values.

You can use the link shown if you can't get terrablender to work.

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

I'm on 1.20.1 and was wondering if there was a way to add a mob I am going to make to a other mod's biome (Regions Unexplored in this case). I am trying to figure this out before I start coding the mod. Could someone point me to a good guide on this? I saw some things about biome modifier's but all the resources are either to short, unhelpful or for a different version. Thanks in advance. (i am a beginner but i have java and modding knowledge so this isn't like a "i am new and don't know anything about coding" problem btw)

Hi everyone, I keep getting "invalid player data" when trying to log onto my friend's server. Log analysis says to remove Night Lights and ImmediatelyFast, but that doesn't work. Any insight is appreciated

Bad pathfinding for big mobs (1.21.1)

I've struggled with this for way too long now, so I have decided to ask for some assistance here because there is almost no information about this online.

I made a hostile mob and I built it like this:

However, I have discovered that a BoundingBox of 3 is too big for the vanilla pathfinding to work well. In fact, anything bigger than a block will not work well. This is especially noticeable when having it chase a player in a negative X and/or negative Z direction. The mob starts spinning, walking backwards, walking diagonally, etc.

I am using the Goal system:

This does not seem to be a me issue as the ravager, one of the biggest vanilla mobs, also struggles with proper pathfinding. I am a bit familiar with how Minecraft's pathfinding works, but not enough to make a pathfinding system from scratch (or at least not in a reasonable amount of time). Is there any way to fix this with some tweaks or will I have to make a custom pathfinding system?
