Posted March 29, 20232 yr So I'm trying to run a Dawncraft server on Apex MC Hosting but it keeps crashing on startup. I don't really know how to fix it Here is the crash log https://pastebin.com/x0TwZ7bK If you need a latest.log file, I am willing to dropbox it!
March 29, 20232 yr Quote java.lang.Error: ServerHangWatchdog detected that a single server tick took 60.01 seconds (should be max 0.05) Something is taking too long on the server thread. The only clue in what you post is something trying to force load chunks using a command: Quote at net.minecraft.server.commands.ForceLoadCommand$$Lambda$21969/0x0000000803804790.run(Unknown Source) ~[?:?] {} at com.mojang.brigadier.CommandDispatcher.execute(CommandDispatcher.java:263) ~[brigadier-1.0.18.jar%2324!/:?] {} Which might not be cause, it is just what is running when the 60 second timeout happened. I suggest you speak to the dawncraft modpack authors. Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
March 30, 20232 yr Author They have told me to set my tick time to -1 so I have set my max tick time to -1 which got it to work! Thank you!
April 8, 20232 yr max-tick-timeout in server.properties But that's not a proper solution. If something is taking more than 60 seconds on the server thread, it is badly designed. The modpack or mod authors should fix it. Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings.
