kapt_kraken Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I assume a mod is causing this but looking through this spaghetti I couldn't find anything. run.bat log: https://pastebin.com/1XBmn00M Quote
Hipposgrumm Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Try doing a binary search with your files. Quote I'm not good at modding, but at least I can read a crash report (well enough). That's something, right?
kapt_kraken Posted April 6, 2023 Author Posted April 6, 2023 Update, I found out, it was the create mod, a mod called "mystical oak tree", and the carpeted mod that were causing the errors. However, I would really love to keep these, especially the create mod, is there any way to fix these errors without removing the mods? Quote
warjort Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 If you know which mods are causing the problem, check you have the latest versions then contact the mod authors. Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
kapt_kraken Posted April 6, 2023 Author Posted April 6, 2023 Alright thank you! I'll be on that right away! Quote
kapt_kraken Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 So, it turns out I needed to downgrade Java from 20 to 17, and while I did do that and it stopped the errors, now I can't run the server or even play minecraft in general (singleplayer). Um, help? Quote
warjort Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 No logs/debug.log means we can't see the error(s) and so can't help you. Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. Expand Well, the server wasn't generating any logs, so I had nothing to send you, HOWEVER I managed to fix every issue by downgrading my Java from 20 to 17, and the reason why nothing was working was simply due to me not properly uninstalling Java 20, causing an association error.
