Getting an exit code 1 when trying to start up my own modpack

The last thing in that log is optifine.

You definitely have the wrong version for your version of forge.

Use the latest preview release or try without it.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

the version I have is HD_U_H7 which on the optifine website is listed for 1.18.2 which is the version of MC im using...

 

should I downgrade it to H6?

 

nvm you said preview release... Ill try the h9 pre3 and see what happens.

ok Ive tried it both with and without h9 pre 3 and im still getting the error. I will post both logs so you can see.  with and without optifine preview h9 pre

That still shows optifine as the last line in the log.

As I said above, try without optifine. If you are still getting the crash then post the launcher_log.txt

Otherwise you need to talk to the optifine mod authors.

Neither shows an error. As I said, post the launcher_log.txt (from directly after the crash - do not restart the launcher).

there is no launcher_log.txt being generated for curseforge instances that I can see unless the file is being generated somewhere else

Try without any mods first.

Usually when the game crashes without an error in the log it is a hard crash due to something else (e.g. an issue with your graphics card driver).

That's why I asked for the launcher_log.txt which might have record the error.

there isn't one due to the fact I'm using the curseforge app. only logs I'll get are latest.log and crash reports.txt

Conflict between immersive portals and the krypton mod. Check you have the latest versions then contact the mod authors.

That should have appeared in the logs/debug.log, I guess you are were posting the wrong one of that as well?

I was posting the latest.log when I originally started this thread. but is that the only issue? would you like to see all the launcher logs?

Looks to me like pluto and kryton are both forks/ports of the same "velocity" project.

If you really have disabled krypton, you should check curseforge actually removed the mod from the mods folder.

the file extension is currently set to disabled "krypton-0.1.10-SNAPSHOT.jar.disabled" like so. Screenshot of the mod

Ok, I was looking at the wrong part of the log.

If you can find the correct logs/debug.log, those are much easier to read.

 

Anyway, there is a later error:

There is some issue with canary, probably a conflict with another mod but it doesn't say which one.

Check you have the latest version then contact the mod author.

If I were you I remove all those optimisation mods (including optifine) and get your modpack loading/stable.

Only then add optimisation mods and do it one by one so you know which ones cause conflicts/bugs.

Now you have an issue with pehkui. Probably a wrong version from the error?

You really need to rebuild this modpack from scratch. Add mods in small groups and test it, so you know which mods are causing problems.

 

If you have a specific problem you don't understand feel free to start a new thread.

But this forum doesn't exist to try to debug/fix some modpack that was clearly made by dumping random mods in the mod folder.
