So I am creating a mod and in that mod I'm creating a wand which strikes entities with lightning and if there is no entity it just strikes where you aim. now I need to spawn lightning for this but level.spawnLightning no longer works since it is in 1.19.2 any suggestions to replace... https://prnt.sc/KMGMC3wGkssk <<< Image for reference...

A LightningBolt is just an entity, you spawn them like any other.

Using your IDE to search for uses of EntityTypes.LIGHTNING_BOLT would give you the LightningRodBlock which has the code you want.

In case you haven't guessed already. You are beginning to annoy me with all these lazy beginner questions.

Put some effort into finding the answer for yourself before posting here. And that means more than finding one tutorial that doesn't work because it is for the wrong version of minecraft.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
