I'm interested to know when an Animal "makes hearts" from server: level.broadcastEntityEvent(this, (byte)18) in Animal.setInLove and Animal.spawnChildFromBreeding to client: public void handleEntityEvent(byte b) in Animal class where heart particles are added I want to listen to this entity event packet... Maybe i have to register a listener to handle packets like this client side? May 10, 20232 yr There is no way to listen to those packets/events as far as I can see. Maybe you can submit a patch to MinecraftForge? But it's also not the only place that spawns heart particles, see for example Animal.aiStep() You could add a listener to LivingTickEvent and check Animal.isInLove() - but that data is only available on the server. If you want it on the client you would need to send/broadcast your own packet. Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder.
