Mods not showing up in game

Recommended Posts

I'm new to any kind of modding scene so I don't know how to go about fixing any of this. I've checked several different posts and videos and tutorials to no avail as i cant seem to find anyone with the same issue

I just installed forge and ran it and opening the mods tab there is just forge and minecraft default showing in the listing there as "2 mods loaded". I then dragged 3 .jar mod files into my mods folder and rebooted my game. When i opened my mods tab again it still only showed the 2 default mods and none of the new ones i added show up. ive tried everything i can think of to no success. im running the latest (as of writing this) version of forge for 1.19.2 which is my prefered version.

You must include the log files in your post, otherwise we cannot help you.

Use a service like Pastebin.com or GitHub Gist.

Do not use a file sharing service like Mediafire, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. and do not attach the file to your forum post.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
