when trying to enter my server i get "connection closed - mismatched mod channel list" error message

i uploaded to my server a modpack (for Forge 40.2.0), then i made a CourseForge profile with that same modpack, when i play in singleplayer with it there is no problem so every mod should be compatible but when i try to join the server this "connection closed - mismatched mod channel list" message pops up listing 16 out of the 46 mods that "rejected their server side version number"

THIS IS THE .log

After a quick check of your logs, the error means exactly what it says. You have extra mods on your client that you need to either install on the server you are playing on or remove from your client folder.

but i used the same modpack for both the server and my client, what could be the reason for the server not to accept some of the mods? excluding a version problem since i use the right version on the server (Forge 40.2.0, which is also the same i'm using for my client and works)

Your log says they are not the same.

Are you sure you are connecting to the right server?

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

yes i'm sure the server is the right one and that it has the same modpack too, i think that for some reason (which is what i'm trying to understand) the server doesn't load some of the mods but still manages to startup, so when trying to connect it doesn't work due to some of the mods that didn't load.

i just found out this, i tried uploading to the server only one of the non working mods and this message came up on the server's console before crashing:

[13:16:00] [main/ERROR] [ne.mi.fm.lo.LanguageLoadingProvider/LOADING]: Missing language javafml version [36,39] wanted by alexsmobs-1.18.2.jar, found 40

(before i used a .zip file of the modpack and this message never came up for any of the non working mods, and the server did go online)

You must include the log files in your post, otherwise we cannot help you.

Use a service like Pastebin.com or GitHub Gist.

Do not use a file sharing service like Mediafire, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. and do not attach the file to your forum post.

That means the mod wants forge 36 to 39, i.e. minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.1

While you have forge 40 or minecraft 1.18.2

ok, i fixed immersive armors too but now i have yet another problem that i've never seen before:

https://imgur.com/a/FVQDLvY

since the problem was caused by creeper overhaul i tried deleting that mod but when i tried again a similar message popped up but this time the problem was caused by another mod, then i tried deleting this last mod and the same thing happened yet another mod seemed to not work

Can you please stop posting images and just post the logs.

That image looks like you still don't have ic_ia (immersive armors) on the server. So it is maybe not correct image anyway?

yes, i'm sorry i put the wrong picture, it should have been this one (https://imgur.com/a/uFIXqIv), tho now i managed somehow to fix this "internal exception" problem.

now only one problem remains: when i try to add the Forge mod "Create" the server crashes during the boot-up process.

these are the logs that i copied from the server's console when the crash occurred:  https://pastebin.pl/view/acafe721

(i had to copy the logs manually from the console, i should have managed to copy paste from start to finish the server's boot-up process but i think i missed in the middle some of the "[16:48:04] [main/WARN] [ne.mi.re.ForgeRegistry/REGISTRIES]:.........................." lines but these shouldn't be important i think)

i already tried to use the server without the mod "Create" and it works, but it would be awesome if there was a way to make this mod work too.

sorry, there's also this error that i don't understand regarding another mod: "[18:29:03] [main/ERROR] [mixin/]: Mixin config rottencreatures-common.mixins.json does not specify "minVersion" property"

these are the logs for this error: https://pastebin.pl/view/47a67516

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/simibubi/create/content/contraptions/behaviour/MovementBehaviour

        at TRANSFORMER/[email protected]/net.mehvahdjukaar.supplementaries.integration.CompatHandler.init(CompatHandler.java:91)

Some incompatibility between create and supplementaries? Probably you don't have compatible versions.

Contact the mod authors for help.

The mixin "minVersion" error is not a real error, or at least not one that causes problems. You can ignore it.

    • Version 1.19 - Forge 41.0.63 I want to create a wolf entity that I can ride, so far it seems to be working, but the problem is that when I get on the wolf, I can’t control it. I then discovered that the issue is that the server doesn’t detect that I’m riding the wolf, so I’m struggling with synchronization. However, it seems to not be working properly. As I understand it, the server receives the packet but doesn’t register it correctly. I’m a bit new to Java, and I’ll try to provide all the relevant code and prints *The comments and prints are translated by chatgpt since they were originally in Spanish* Thank you very much in advance No player is mounted, or the passenger is not a player.
