I've been having lots of fun playing Dawncraft recently but I've now become stuck doing a quest where I can't progress.

This is because every time I try to reach the point on the map I encounter a jungle biome and as soon as the chunks load the biome the game freezes. I am still able to walk around but chunks stop loading, the stamina wheel dissapears and mobs freeze.

I've tried increasing the ram allocation (as high as 17G), patching the "profile", patching the game with Better Dawncraft etc. and am now out of options.

Is this a known issue or is it my hardware that's causing this?

Try a mod like https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/spark

Read their documentation/wiki for how to use it.

If you want help here, you need to post your logs/debug.log

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

Thanks for replying, here is the debug.log

I should say this is from a test world where I ran into a similar issue, however in this I simply flew around in creative. I flew about 7k blocks east trying to find a jungle to replicate the original crash before turning around. I made it about 1.5k blocks west until the chunks stopped loading again, a similar distance that I traveled in the original world.

I am also having this problem. Did you find a fix yet?

Sadly, no. Let me know if you find anything though?
