Posted August 13, 20232 yr Do not misunderstand me, I do not want to plagiarize others or use texture or sound files that are not mine, I am new to the world of mods, and I want to delve into the code of other mods to learn how certain things are done, an example is that I want to learn how to make animations in minecraft, And for that I want to be guided by a mod called Epicfight Mod, which has combat animations, so I would like to be told how to enter the code of other mods, if possible.
August 13, 20232 yr Search github for projects, many of them are open source and published for anyone to look at. There may be ways to reverse-engineer someone's code if they do not make the source available, but it's usually best to have permission/find open-source mods to look at.

I appreciate that you have given an answer, but I already found the solution to my problem, I discovered that there are programs called "Java Decompiler" which extract the json, scripts and even images and sounds, and I have already learned from the mods I have used
