so i have an issue with my server. as i start the server, some of the mods aren't detected by the server as if they weren't in the mods folder. I asked my friend to set up a server on his pc and sent him the exact mods that i use, along with the world file.. he showed me a screenshot where the mods that didnt load up, worked on his server. what could be the issue? also tell me if you need any more details.
thanks in advance.

For mod files to be used they must end in .jar

There is some software (browser plugin?) somewhere that thinks .jar files are zip files (which they kind of are) and so downloads the mod files with file ending .jar.zip

Forge will ignore such files.

Change windows explorer so that it shows file endings (they are hidden by default) and make sure all your mods end with .jar

The logs/debug.log file has a list of files at the top that Forge thinks are potentially valid for loading as mods.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
