Issues with forge version and mod creation

Hi! I am trying to make a mod and whenever I try to playtest it this error comes up. I have the correct version of forge installed (40.2.8) and used the correct modkit. Why is this happening?

That seems completely fine, and there are no meaningful errors or any indication of bad stuff, as far as I can tell. Can you give me some more information about what you are trying to do? Try stripping the mod down to just a renamed MDK and see if it runs.
