I downloaded Minecraft Forge for 1.6.2 so I can play Pixelmon. After it downloaded, I click on "install_profile" and this is what I get:

Error: Invalid or corrupt jarfile

And that's all it says. I have no idea why this is happening. I tried downloading other versions but I get the same results.

There should be no "install_profile"

Aside from that, try running the jar file manually: www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6uMF-PjGT4

And next post should have LOGS so that we can see what's going on.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

When I downloaded the installer, it came as a folder instead of a .jar file so I can't run it manually.

We dont ship folders, it's a jar file. Unless you're downloading something odd.

Or you're using a retarded download manager that automatically extracts jars... if so don't use that.
