You've overloaded your naming scheme.  It can't tell the difference between CobaltBlock and CobaltBlock.

(One of those is a class, the other is an instance of that class, which is which?)

Rename the instance variable.  That would fix it.

I don't need to tell you how to fix it, because doing so would make me look patronizing.

Select the variable, hit delete, type cobaltBlock with a lower case C, now rename allll the other ones to match....

new WorldGenMinable(CobaltOre.blockID, 10)

And what's that?

That should be correct.

Then you haven't found all of them.

Do you or do you not know what "a static reference" and a "a non-static field" are?

Thanks Draco. And the way you're doing it is great :). I just want to say, if you get any compile time errors, this is Java, and if you google it you'll most certainly find a solution. These solutions don't have to be Minecraft related in any way off course.

possibly the fact that this is not static:

//Block Details

              //Cobalt

No Static Here --->    final Block CobaltBlock = new CobaltBlock(500, Material.iron)

Did you finally name your variable something other than the same name as your class?  And start referencing that variable properly?

    • Version 1.19 - Forge 41.0.63 I want to create a wolf entity that I can ride, so far it seems to be working, but the problem is that when I get on the wolf, I can’t control it. I then discovered that the issue is that the server doesn’t detect that I’m riding the wolf, so I’m struggling with synchronization. However, it seems to not be working properly. As I understand it, the server receives the packet but doesn’t register it correctly. I’m a bit new to Java, and I’ll try to provide all the relevant code and prints *The comments and prints are translated by chatgpt since they were originally in Spanish* Thank you very much in advance No player is mounted, or the passenger is not a player.
