Posted November 22, 201311 yr Hey guys, I've got a mod which slightly alters how food works. However, the change means if I try and connect to a server without my mod, I get kicked with "ID Mismatches" Is there a simple way that I can just disable my mod if it's not on the server, so I can still connect to those servers? Thanks http://s13.postimg.org/z9mlly2av/siglogo.png[/img] My mods (Links coming soon) Cities | Roads | Remula | SilvaniaMod | MoreStats

I don't think you understood the question at all. I know that's how the client fixes it. But, I want my modded client to be able to connect to an unmodded server if the user wishes - I don't want them to have to close their client and remove my mod to join a vanilla server or a server which doesn't run my mod - it's quite a negative point on the mod to do that... http://s13.postimg.org/z9mlly2av/siglogo.png[/img] My mods (Links coming soon) Cities | Roads | Remula | SilvaniaMod | MoreStats
November 26, 201311 yr if you not add items/blocks i think you can do it Client sidded and only make it change if it is a single player map
November 27, 201311 yr If you changed something that belongs to the server (food effects) the mod need to be installed on server side. Considering the server has all rights and client has none, you can't check what mod is in effect before being accepted by it. Thus the answer is logically: no. It isn't that big of a deal anyway, since you can make a profile without the mod installed.
