Posted December 28, 20231 yr Hello! I have a block and I used canSurvive() and made it so it can't be placed on top of air. But when I break the block underneath the block, it wouldn't break. How can I fix this? Edited January 3, 20241 yr by Bunnly Solved
December 28, 20231 yr If your block does not extend one of the blocks that supports canSurvive(), you need to do what they do with the updateShape() callback. It is called when neighbouring blocks change. See for example, BushBlock, DoorBlock, TorchBlock, etc. Or maybe FaillingBlock depending upon what you are trying to achieve? You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
