Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue while trying to install Forge on Minecraft, and I'm hoping someone here can help me resolve it. During the Forge installation process, I'm receiving an error message stating that the file client-1.16.5-20210115.111550-slim.jar cannot be found at the specified location.

Here's the complete error message I'm receiving:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Diego Verganti\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\net\minecraft\client\1.16.5-20210115.111550\client-1.16.5-20210115.111550-slim.jar (The specified path could not be found)

I've followed the installation steps provided on the official Forge website carefully, but I'm unable to resolve this issue. I've already tried restarting the installation process, ensuring that Minecraft is up to date, and even renaming the .minecraft folder to ensure there are no conflicts with default settings.

Has anyone encountered the same issue or does anyone have any suggestions on how I can resolve it? I would greatly appreciate any help or advice you can provide.

Thank you in advance!

Is the problem solved now? I am also facing the same issue and that is why I came here to ask whether you resolved the issue or not. If you resolved the issue, then please let me know how solved it. Now, I will visit google search because I want to read reviews for this https://academized.com/write-my-thesis website where I found an essay writer who will write my thesis for me by taking some money but before that I want to read reviews so that I can trust their essay writers.

Is the problem solved now?

I thought I was able to change it but from that guide I don't think I understood very well, can you explain to me what I should do? A thousand thanks

Right-click on the minecraft shortcut on your desktop

At the Target line, go to the end, press space bar and paste

--workDir %ProgramData%\.minecraft

Run Minecraft again, create 1.16.5 profile and run this once

Then reinstall Forge

Try my Modpack
