Error Loading Mods in Forge

When I launch forge it says I have an error loading the files. The exact quote is: "Invalid mod file found". I have the latest version of forge and I am downloading the mod files on their 1.20.4 versions and my java is all updated. So I'm not sure what the problem is.

This is a known bug with Forge 49.0.45. Should be fixed in the upcoming 49.0.49 release. Use 49.0.44 or older in the meantime.

If the issue persists, make sure you're downloading the Forge version of the mod. Click the files tab on curseforge and filter by modloader so that you're not downloading the wrong one.
