My lady and I do not have internet all we have is her phone, we just snagged 1.7.2. We are trying to get forge working with 1.7.2 we are not able to use the installer because we have no net and I needs to download the library. I have been trying to get the universal working and I cannot seem to get it work, I make a new folder in the version copy the 1.7.2 jar in there and rename it, I copy the universal forge in there and delete the mojang files in the meta, I open up the json file and change the id to the name of the folder. I open up minecraft and make sure the profile is booting the forge jar and I start up minecraft, boots up fine plays fine but no forge. Any suggestions would be helpful my lady and I would love to get playing again. Thank you!

We just snagged a fresh install from a friend so it has everything updated,we have been doing that and just starting a single player game and opening it up to LAN.

Run the installer once on a computer with internet.

Not much we can do besides that, unless you want a big complicated list of 'download this file to this folder' which would just be a pain.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
